Skype for iPhone Now Available in the AppStore

Today Skype has released the official version of Skype for the iPhone. It is available for free and it allows users to make voice calls while connected to Wi-Fi as well as send instant messages over the cell network. Similar to the desktop. I tried to use 3G to make a call and it’s blocked, however you can chat with other users.
In this version, voice calls to other Skype users are free (using WiFi), although you can make and receive voice calls from landlines if you pay for the necessary services.
